Why adult chat sites take crypto, how to buy a small amount in NZ dollars, which coins have the lowest fees, and the one mistake to avoid when you send it.

Chatroom takes payment in crypto only. That's good news for privacy: no card on file, no "adult site" line on your bank statement, nothing to cancel. If you've never bought crypto, this takes about 15 minutes the first time.
Why crypto?
Most card processors won't work with adult chat sites, and the ones that do charge a lot. Crypto keeps entry at $14.99 once, and there's no stored card that could be billed again.
Step 1: Pick an NZ exchange
Use an exchange that takes NZD from your bank, such as Easy Crypto, Swyftx or Independent Reserve (Finder NZ compares more). Check it's on the Financial Service Providers Register, as the FMA recommends. Exchanges verify your ID by law; we don't.
Your exchange will show a crypto purchase. Your bank just sees a payment to the exchange.
Step 2: Choose a low-fee coin
| Coin | Typical fee for a small payment | Confirmation time |
|---|---|---|
| Litecoin (LTC) | Very low | A few minutes |
| USDT on Tron (TRC20) | Very low | About a minute |
| Solana (SOL) | Very low | Seconds |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Can be high relative to $14.99 | 10–60 minutes |
| Ethereum (ETH) | Can be high relative to $14.99 | A few minutes |
Litecoin and USDT on Tron are good first choices.
Step 3: Buy a little extra
Buy a few dollars more than the invoice. Some exchanges take their withdrawal fee out of the amount you send, which can leave a payment short.
Step 4: Pay
- Create your account and click Pay $14.99 with crypto.
- Pick your coin on the invoice page. You'll get an exact amount and an address.
- In your exchange, choose Withdraw / Send, paste the address, enter the exact amount.
Step 5: Check the network, twice
The one mistake that can lose money: USDT exists on several networks. If the invoice says USDT TRC20, choose Tron (TRC20) in your exchange. Wrong network usually can't be undone.
Step 6: Wait for confirmations
Your account stays pending until the network confirms, usually a few minutes. The join page checks automatically. Once it's through, switch on R18 and the companions will probably say hello before you do.
Stuck?
If nothing's arrived after an hour, use our complaints page and choose "A payment problem", with the coin and the time you sent it.
